There are much better options for the same price. Positive: The hotel is very close to the ocean — just a 2-minute walk to a beautiful beach, which is definitely a plus. However, the property is also right next to a busy road, and since the soundproofing is basically nonexistent, the traffic noise is constant and quite disturbing. On top of that, you can hear every single word from your neighbors — walls are paper-thin. The room is old and hasn’t been renovated in a long time. On the positive side, the AC unit is new, quiet, and works well. But most of the furniture and equipment feel very cheap. The mattress was extremely uncomfortable, and the pull-out sofa… better not to even comment. We had issues getting into the unit — the access code provided didn’t work. I had to call and message the host, and while they eventually resolved the issue, we ended up standing outside in the heat with two kids for over 30 minutes. There were also several minor issues: • the kitchen sink drains very slowly, • the promised beach umbrella was broken, • and yes, there were cockroaches. The management is polite and responsive, but not very helpful. They apologize and seem surprised, yet there are cockroach traps under the sink — which tells me this is not a new problem Negative: - cockroaches - very old and cheap - zero soundproof - useless management
