Disappointing Negative: Host was incredibly rude and refused to refund for parking despite their parking card not working properly. After confirming that parking is supposed to be included in the price host refused a refund stating they left instructions on how to use the card. The only “instructions” I read was one sentence that stated the card must be used to go in before before being used to exit. I upon exiting I swiped the card out, it did not work. So I swiped the card on the opposite reader to register it going in, and swiped it again to register an exit. It still did not work. At this point a valet was nearby and saw me struggling so he tried to help as he has experience with that parking garage. He said the card just wasn’t working. So I paid full price for parking to exit the garage, after paying over $600 for one night. Also, the carpets had multiple wet spots like they had been steam cleaned recently and not dried. We had to keep our shoes on to not get wet feet and the place smelled like mildew.
